What is the difference between traditional negative campaigning and negative SEO?

Campaigns can be bad. We all know that happen. Sometimes a marketing strategy that pulls down the competition to choose instead of building their offerings. It 'always some problems with defamation and slander, and other legal issues, such as annoying, but I have never been sufficient to contain them all, the company was not ethical to try them was. And now we have the Internet open all kinds of new opportunities for even more unpleasant.

But just because a newAvenue has been opened for us, this means that to get it automatically? This means that we automatically test the limits of the law, the algorithms or the boundaries of ethical practice? In a word ... no.

Traditional negative campaigning, until it comes to multiple births, the promotion of different products. This is a natural consequence of which can have two products that are so similar that does not really convince anyone, you've become a bit 'better, so we try toto convince everyone that had become a bit 'worse.

We see this a lot in politics ... We also expect. But it is still done in other areas, very often. But for the fact that a degree of tact, or risk having it backfire wear or use the legal implications.

And now we have internet, new methods of negative campaigning can get. And some of the EES with a sense of moral leniency do their best to take advantage of them.

SEO, orTake the optimization of search engines, identified on the learning of research methods or rules of what passes for a site on the top of search engine results will be. It requires careful monitoring and strict rules in order to effectively (and ethically) from a particular location of the site.

Of course, to learn how some companies, the rules and methods of ethical SEO, they begin to do some tricks, as well as locally. And the tricks that they find loopholes. Andthese deficiencies to give them the ability to artificially manipulate the results. These practices were jointly labeled Black Hat SEO and search engine you can do everything from exploring these practices, including the punishment of any website or even an outright ban on it.

Unfortunately, it is precisely because of these measures, which is a new form of unethical SEO seemed - usually referred to as negative SEO.

SEO negative, as the traditional country becomes negative, it's all aboutBreaking down the other, rather than the building itself. SEO negative can come in a variety of forms, all with the aim to lead to serious damage to someone else.

Some of these methods are: bowling Google, false claims of copyright, click fraud, false and have the same content. Many of these practices are just evil, while some of their results (from the new research policy as in the case of Google Bowling). These practices involve the implementation of Black Hat SEO --not for its own website, but your site for the contest. Theoretically, the sanctions would cause to happen to them and opened ranks highest for you.

Is it really? Some say yes, others not. Google itself says: "There is almost nothing a competitor can do to remove your negative attitude or your site from our index."

Of course, there's something suspicious about that "almost" and unethical SEO blocked on it as proof that you can do (even though mostprobably refers to a malicious hacker attacks and identity theft as a search engine the results are not handling).

So, what is the difference between traditional negative campaigning and negative SEO?

A: There are laws governing libel and slander, that the protection of victims of traditional campaigns. You do not have that luxury against the negative SEO. All you can do is hope that the search engine has covered in some way.

Two: the traditional campaigns seek to influence opinion.Negative SEO attempts to eliminate a competitor from the operation. You can choose to ignore the negative ads and click on their website, if you click on it on a website.

As the Internet continues to evolve to this new practice immoral and will continue to appear. But the choice is always the same: You want to make himself better, or tear others down?
